Shutterfly Holiday Cards

Okay, I’m pretty cheesy when it comes to things related to Christmas. Maybe cheesy, isn’t the right word, maybe in love with traditions and how things always are. I’m a creature of comfort. Since the husband and I got married, we have always done photo cards. The first year, we used a picture from our wedding, but ever since we have used a picture of us wearing our Ohio State / Michigan shirts. This year, we don’t have a photo like that unless we fake posed for one and we don’t really feel like it. So, we almost thought about doing regular holiday cards. But, I just can’t break from our little holiday card tradition. Next year, we will have our new baby to splash across the cards and I am super stoked about continuing photo cards with our kids to share with our family and friends.

Enter Shutterfly. I will confess, I have never used Shutterfly before, and have just recently looked at their website when I was looking for a different company/better deal to make our family calendar. But then I found out on Twitter about the Shutterfly Blogger Holiday Card Promotion and was like well if this isn’t a sign I don’t know what is! So yes, I am receiving 50 free cards in exchange for this post, but come on there is some super cute stuff to buy there!

I know it is going to be hard to pick which design to use, but here are three of my favorites!

This one is probably my favorite and looks almost identical to the background from last year.

I usually like to have Merry Christmas on my cards, but I would make an exception on this one because depending on the picture I choose to use the background would look really good with it.

On this one, I really like the ornaments and the green and red.

As you can tell, I like to have only one main picture be the focus and then minimal stuff on the side. Probably when I am a crazy mom I will pick a collage because I won't be able to pick just one picture of my cute child! ;)

Here are some more Holiday Cards to pick from.

I also think this is a pretty cute Invitation for a holiday party! I love SNOWMEN!!!!!

More Invitations can be found here.
Shutterfly also has cute address labels, gift tags, and personalized photo gifts. (There are some adorable shots of babies in ornaments!!)
Now that I have spent the last few days drooling over this stuff I may be Christmas shopping off of here or planning future projects to showcase my child!
What kind of holiday cards do you send?

AHHH I didn't know I could blog about them and get 50 free cards! Dammnit, I just ordered 25 holiday cards from them yesterday ;) I wish I'd seen this blog post :P

Anyways, yes, I am all for photo cards! This year I used pictures from our Europe trip. Personally, I am WAY more likely to keep a card that a person or family gives me if it's a photo card rather than just a generic holiday card that they wrote "Merry Christmas" in!

I know it's pretty atypical to do this as a single person, but I also send out photo cards. I figure people would rather get a photo card from me than a boring plain card that I sign. Plus, it's less work because I don't have to sign them, but if I send an actual card, I feel like i should write a message inside which is time consuming...

Man I'm with Amber- I did NOT know about this and I totally already ordered ours. Grr. Now I'm mad. But I'm going to recover to say I'm happy you are getting the free cards :)

I'm a shutterfly ADDICT! I gotta get them to hook me up with 50 free cards for a blog post. How does that work? Ha! I like the middle card the most.

We used to love Shutterfly and the thought of 50 free cards is cool. But, we've been using Send Out Cards for a year now and are actually MAKING money by sending cards through them and helping others send cards through them (and making money themselves).

Send Out Cards is fully customizable and allows you to use as many pictures as you want, send out personalized cards in your own handwriting and with your own signature right from your computer and you can send gifts this way, too!

I'm happy to give you and your readers a couple of free Send Out Cards to send out as an early holiday gift to you all.

Just go to www.sendoutcards.com/gradea to send out a card or two on me.

Happy Holidays!!!

Andy
